Product FAQs
What does 80/10/10 raw dog food mean?
80/10/10 generally refers to a prey-model raw ratio based around 80% meat, 10% bone and 10% offal. The Rawest Beef and Turkey recipes are formulated around this approach.
Is NutriWolds Rawest a complete dog food?
The packaging describes the meat recipes as prey-model raw and specifically states that prey-model raw is not balanced to FEDIAF. It should therefore be incorporated into an appropriately balanced raw feeding plan.
Are all of the Rawest recipes 80/10/10?
The Beef and Turkey recipes are 80/10/10. The Herring recipe is 100% whole Atlantic herring, while Sprats & Sardines contains 50% whole sprats and 50% whole sardines.
Is Rawest Beef single protein?
Yes. The recipe uses British ox muscle meat, ox rib bone, ox liver and ox spleen.
Is Rawest Turkey single protein?
Yes. The meat, offal and bone components are all turkey.
What is in Rawest Herring?
It contains 100% whole Atlantic herring.
What is in Rawest Sprats & Sardines?
It contains 50% whole sprats and 50% whole sardines.
Does NutriWolds Rawest contain artificial colours or preservatives?
No. The packaging states that the recipes contain no artificial colours, preservatives or premix/synthetic vitamin additives.
Can puppies eat NutriWolds Rawest?
The packaging provides feeding recommendations for puppies, but because prey-model raw is not balanced to FEDIAF, the dog’s overall diet needs to provide appropriate nutritional balance, particularly during growth.
How much is in each tub?
Each tub contains 1kg.
How should it be stored once defrosted?
Keep defrosted food refrigerated and away from other food. The packaging states it can be refrigerated for up to three days.
Can the tubs be recycled?
Yes. The packaging is labelled widely recycled. Remove the adhesive label, rinse the tub and recycle it with the lid on.
