Use our free Raw Dog Food Calculator to estimate how much raw food your dog should eat each day. Enter the relevant weight, select the appropriate life stage and choose how many meals they eat per day.
Adult dogs: Feed approximately 2% to 3% of ideal adult body weight per day.
Senior dogs: Feed approximately 2% of ideal adult body weight per day.
Puppies using expected adult weight: Feed approximately 2.5% of expected adult body weight per day.
Puppies using current weight: Feed approximately 7.5% of current body weight per day.
The amount shown by this calculator is intended as a starting point. Every dog is unique, and their ideal feeding amount will vary depending on their age, activity level, metabolism, breed, body condition and overall health.
Monitor your dog’s body condition regularly and adjust feeding amounts gradually to maintain a healthy weight. For adult and senior dogs, use their ideal adult body weight rather than their current weight if they are overweight.
If you are changing your dog’s diet, introduce the new food gradually over 7 to 10 days. If your dog has an existing medical condition, is pregnant, nursing, underweight or has specific dietary requirements, seek advice from your vet or a suitably qualified canine nutrition professional.
